Our Philosophy

Justify Cards is built with a "Privacy First" mindset. We believe your financial data belongs to you. Our goal is to provide a tool for optimization, not data harvesting.

What Data We Collect

We only collect the data necessary to provide a smooth cross-device experience:

Authentication: We use Supabase for secure sign-in. This provides us with your email address simply to identify your account.
Portfolio Data: We store the cards you add, such as nicknames, member labels, renewal dates, reminder preferences, and the benefits you claim so that you can sync them across your devices.

Personalization & Recommendations

We use the credit card portfolio data you provide to tailor specific notifications, educational information, and personalized credit card or financial product recommendations. This includes:

Benefit Alerts: Notifying you about upcoming benefit expirations for cards in your portfolio or updates regarding changes to card benefits and terms.
Tailored Insights: Providing curated data points and retention offer history found through research to help you make informed decisions on whether to keep or cancel your cards.
Product Matching: Surfacing card or financial product recommendations that complement your existing portfolio and maximize your overall ROI. These mathematical recommendations are generated entirely in-house using the portfolio data you provide; we do not share your profile, email, or personal data with credit card issuers to generate these offers. These recommendations may include affiliate links that financially support the development of Justify Cards.

What We DON'T Do

To be clear:

We DO NOT sell your personal data to third-party brokers or advertisers.
We DO NOT track your personal transactions or bank account balances.
We DO NOT store sensitive credit card numbers or security codes.
We DO NOT use intrusive tracking pixels for third-party advertising networks.
We DO NOT share your account data or email address with financial networks or card issuers. If you click an affiliate link, you are redirected to the issuer's secure site. The issuer only knows that a user came from Justify Cards; they receive zero personal or portfolio data from our database.

Account Deletion

You are in control. If you choose to delete your account, all your portfolio data and claims will be permanently removed from our database immediately.
